Why we included this project

Data teams that want AI agents to do real work on their warehouse will find this a practical fit. It hands an LLM a large set of deterministic tools for SQL analysis, column-level lineage, dbt model generation and testing, cross-dialect translation, PII detection, and warehouse cost review, so the agent has something concrete to act on rather than pattern-matching its way through a schema. You can run it standalone in a terminal, mount it under Claude Code or Codex, or wire it into CI and orchestration DAGs. The deterministic tooling is the point: engineers who have been burned by agents guessing at schemas or inventing SQL advice get a harness that checks its work. The dbt pull-request review workflow and the FinOps cost reporting are the two pieces most likely to save a team real time week to week.
