Why we included this project

Alook turns local coding agents into something closer to a small team that keeps working after you log off. It runs on your own machine, gives each agent an email address and a role such as dev, ops, or research, and connects them through a shared inbox, kanban board, and calendar so they can pass work to each other and back to you. A solo developer can set up an org chart once and let routine follow-ups and status updates run on their own. If you already use Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode and are tired of supervising every session, this makes those agents persistent and accountable instead of one-shot. It is a heavier setup than a simple CLI wrapper, so it's for people who want proper orchestration and don't mind running a self-hosted daemon.
