Why we included this project

vox-director is an agent skill, not a standalone app: you hand it a one-line topic and it works through the whole editorial pipeline, drafting the script and beat map, cutting paper-collage keyframes, animating them, adding narration and music, and assembling the final mp4 with ffmpeg. It runs through a coding agent like Claude Code or Codex, with two human checkpoints along the way where you approve the story arc and the visual style before the rest runs unattended. That makes it a fit for content teams and solo video makers who want the Vox-style collage look without hiring a motion designer. A single session can take an idea to a shareable film. It also restyles existing talking-head footage (A-roll) and anchors a real photo or product shot into the collage (C-roll), so it isn't limited to greenfield scripts. The result is a well-scoped workflow that strings together LLM writing, image generation, and TTS into one repeatable production step.
