Why we included this project
auteur is an agent skill that installs into Claude Code and dozens of other coding agents, and it exists to stop AI-generated sites from looking like every other template. The method is enforced rather than suggested: art direction gets written down before any markup, visual assets come from local command-line tools, and an executable anti-slop linter plus a real motion check block any release that fails. That makes it a practical fit for teams who want landing pages and multi-screen product sites with a deliberate, film-like feel, and the live gallery shows ten sites the skill itself built. If your agents keep defaulting to boilerplate layouts, this gives them a structured way to aim higher.
