Why we included this project

Claude Code users who want their agent to reason about stocks the way a value investor would get a practical drop-in here. The repo ships a single `buffett` skill that auto-triggers on any company or investment question, runs an eight-question quick screen, and for deeper work pulls in reference files on moats, management quality, financial metrics, and valuation before producing a buy/hold/sell verdict. The eight reference documents encode Buffett's actual frameworks rather than generic advice, and the progressive-disclosure design loads only the files the current analysis needs, so you are not paying token cost for the whole library on every query. The repo also publishes eval results across three test cases, which helps you judge whether the added depth is worth the extra tokens and latency. Teams doing equity research, due diligence, or financial report review inside an agent workflow are the main audience, and those results make it easy to test before committing.
