Why we included this project

AgentTeams is an orchestration layer for teams that have outgrown the single-agent setup: it sits on top of existing agent runtimes instead of replacing them, with a Manager agent that hands work to Worker agents, each free to run on a different runtime such as OpenClaw, QwenPaw, or Hermes and pulled in for what it does best. The whole workflow lives in Matrix chat rooms, so a human coordinator can watch tasks unfold in real time and step in whenever something looks off. Credentials are held in a central gateway while Workers only get consumer tokens, which keeps the agents that can act separate from the ones trusted with secrets. For enterprise teams that want multi-agent collaboration without giving up oversight, that mix of transparency and mixed-runtime flexibility is the point.
