Why we included this project

Windows only lets you pause updates for a limited time, and once the window closes the machine is back on Microsoft's schedule. This utility, which grew out of what was once a plain registry tweak, pushes that date out to the end of 2051 using either a couple of registry scripts or a menu-driven batch tool. It does more than manage updates: the same scripts also remove Copilot, Recall, and Cortana, cut telemetry and tracking, and provide menus for pruning bloatware apps and services. That makes it a good match for Windows 10 and 11 users who are privacy-focused and comfortable reading registry-driven scripts before running them. Most functions need administrator rights, and the maintainers themselves suggest letting updates through occasionally so you do not drift too far from security patches.
