Why we included this project

Teams ask for slides constantly, and this project turns that request into something an agent can genuinely finish on its own. You describe the deck in plain language, your coding agent writes each page as a React component, and open-slide supplies the fixed 1920x1080 canvas, scaling, navigation, hot reload, and a present mode. Anyone already working in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar editors can go from a one-line prompt to a polished deck without leaving the chat. The in-browser inspector makes iteration fast: click any element, leave a comment that persists as a source marker, then run /apply-comments and the agent applies every pending edit in a single pass. A built-in panel for images, videos, and fonts, plus svgl logo search, keeps the whole loop inside one tool, which suits solo developers and small teams who live in agent-driven workflows.
