Why we included this project

ComfyUI users who need clean cutouts can get them without leaving the graph: this custom node wraps BRIA's RMBG-1.4 background removal model in two nodes, one that loads the model and one that strips the background from an image. Batch processing arrived in V1.5, so you can run it across a folder of images or individual video frames, and the optional mask output keeps the alpha channel around for compositing instead of just handing back a cutout. It is a small, self-contained addition for e-commerce photo cleanup, portrait isolation, or prepping images before further generation steps. One thing to check before you rely on it: the underlying model is licensed for non-commercial use, so read that license against your own project if you plan to ship something paid.
