Why we included this project
Anyone who spends their day inside Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Aider has probably noticed the same thing: the agent's prose has a tell. agent-style packages 21 writing rules into a ruleset you can load into those tools, plus Copilot, so the output reads like a working engineer wrote it. Twelve rules come from classic writing guides and nine from watching real LLM output between 2022 and 2026, and each one ships with a command-form directive and BAD-to-GOOD examples rather than a vague 'be clearer' note. There's also a review skill that scores drafts against the rules, so you can check whether the style actually improved instead of trusting your gut. If your agents produce verbose, citation-sloppy, or jargon-heavy text, this is a cheap way to standardize their voice across the whole toolchain.
