Why we included this project
This is a Nix-packaged terminal workspace that gathers the first-party pieces into one launchable environment: Mars (a Rio-derived terminal), a Zellij multiplex fork, a Helix editor fork, and file and shell utilities like Yazi and Nushell. For AI coding readers, the standout is the optional coding-agent popup, which puts an assistant in the same keyboard-driven flow instead of a browser tab. The defaults are strong out of the box, and since everything is pinned and composed through Nix flakes, the same setup works reliably across machines or over SSH. If your team already lives in Nix, this is a solid, terminal-centric starting point, and the package boundaries make swapping components like the editor command simple.
