Why we included this project
This repository holds lecture notes, seminar notebooks, and homework for a deep learning course taught by YSDA, HSE, and Skoltech, with materials refreshed each semester. The weeks progress from implementing backpropagation in plain numpy through PyTorch basics and convolutional networks, then cover generative models and NLP in dedicated notebooks. Because every week pairs a lecture with hands-on practice and graded assignments, it works as a structured curriculum for self-learners who already know Python and prefer an organized path over random tutorials. Instructors designing their own courses can also reuse the assignment and notebook structure as ready-made lab material.
