Why we included this project
OpenAI's Codex desktop app is useful, but getting the installer can be a chore when official download channels are slow or blocked. This project mirrors the official Windows MSIX and macOS DMG builds to GitHub Releases, verifies them with SHA256 checksums, and re-probes for new versions every 15 minutes, so you can always grab a current, verified copy. macOS users get a Sparkle feed with delta packages for incremental auto-updates, and China-based traffic is routed to a separate mirror automatically. It's a distribution layer rather than a new tool, but for anyone who needs the Codex app and can't reach the official channels easily, it removes a real obstacle.
