Why we included this project

Most AI tutors are thin persona prompts that imitate a teacher's catchphrases. This one is different: it's a Claude skill that distills how Hung-Yi Lee actually teaches, using a 916-node concept graph built from his YouTube lectures and transcripts. Explanations follow his structure, moving from intuition to the black-box view to the internals to common pitfalls, and answers can be traced back to specific lectures. The authors also interviewed Lee himself and let his corrections override anything inferred from the transcripts, so the voice is calibrated rather than guessed. For students and self-learners who want grounded explanations, and for anyone building a tutor-style assistant, it's a well-documented example of packaging a teacher's thinking rather than just their words.
