Why we included this project
This volume of the Iris Series covers probability and statistics the way the rest of the series works: through pictures. Each chapter comes with Jupyter notebooks that pair running Python code with detailed figures, so you see what a distribution or a regression actually looks like rather than just reading formulas. The material spans distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, PCA, and multivariate statistics, and because all the books in the series share a consistent visual style, it reads well as a self-study path or as a visual companion to a lecture course. It's educational content, not something you deploy, but the value is in how directly it maps math to code, which makes it a good place to build intuition before moving to production libraries.
