Why we included this project

Linear algebra usually shows up for machine learning learners as the thing they know they should have studied, often after they are already using libraries that assume it. This project frames that material visually instead. The matrix book pairs each concept with Python examples and hand-drawn-style diagrams, so ideas like matrix factorization become operations you can run and inspect rather than notation to memorize. The notebooks let you walk through derivations at your own pace and reuse the examples, and the series keeps adding related math topics in the same style.
