Why we included this project
For developers who want their coding assistant to work with the project's actual tools rather than just autocomplete code, this VS Code extension is a clean way to connect MCP servers and agent skills to Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex CLI. You get an activity-bar panel where you can find and install open-source MCP servers and skills, then control which ones each assistant can use, without hand-editing config files. Built-in discovery saves you from hunting for servers scattered across separate repos, and you can manage several assistants from one screen so each agent only sees the tools it needs. If you'd rather not run servers locally, the optional Cloud MCP route lets you paste a URL, OAuth through, and start using a remote server in about thirty seconds.
