Why we included this project

Quant researchers and engineers tired of testing reinforcement learning ideas against toy gym environments will find TradeMaster unusually complete. It packages financial datasets, market simulators, and a library of over a dozen RL trading agents, so you can go from raw price and order-book data to a trained policy and a systematic evaluation in one framework. The included notebooks reproduce published strategies across portfolio management, intraday trading, order execution, and high-frequency trading, which makes the platform practical for academic experiments and for prototyping production-style systems. Because TradeMaster standardizes environments and evaluation axes, teams comparing different RL algorithms on the same data skip a large amount of integration work.
