Why we included this project

Documentation and product pages that want to show what a coding agent actually looks like often fall back on static screenshots or embedded iframes. brainless takes a different route: it packages the terminal interfaces of Claude Code, Codex, and Grok as shadcn/ui React components, copied straight into your own project with the standard shadcn CLI from a hosted registry or the GitHub repository directly. The components are built to match real session captures, so mockups feel authentic, and they range from individual pieces like headers, thinking blocks, and permission prompts up to full session blocks that assemble a complete agent terminal in one drop. Teams already on shadcn will get the least-friction path to embedding realistic agent interactions in docs or product UI, with the caveat that this is a presentational library, not a runtime for running agents.
