Why we included this project

PocketFlow-Tutorial-Codebase-Knowledge builds an AI agent that crawls a GitHub repository, figures out the core abstractions and how they fit together, and writes a beginner-friendly, illustrated tutorial about the code, entirely without human input. Anyone who has inherited an unfamiliar codebase, or had to bring a new developer up to speed, knows how much time a readable walkthrough saves. Because the agent is built on Pocket Flow, a 100-line LLM framework, the project doubles as a compact example of how to wire up a multi-step AI agent yourself. The generated tutorials for popular libraries like AutoGen and Browser Use are worth browsing on their own, and the project reached the Hacker News front page in April 2025.
