Why we included this project

Stagewise is an IDE with a coding agent built in, and the agent can actually see what you are looking at. It has access to the console and debugger of whatever page you have open, so live front-end debugging and reverse-engineering an existing site's components and styling are realistic workflows instead of guesswork. The tool bundles browsing, app previews, and git operations alongside the agent, which cuts down on bouncing between a chat window, a dev server, and your editor. You can make throwaway test edits or hook up a real codebase for permanent changes, and hand results back to whatever editor you normally use. Bring your own API key and it works across major providers, including custom or local endpoints, so your model choice stays yours.
