Why we included this project
This is a collection of small Python programs written for people who are still learning the language. Instead of one tool you install and run, you get a stack of starter projects to read and run, then take apart and modify: Tic-Tac-Toe, Hangman, Snake, a Sudoku solver, a QR code generator, a dictionary app, and more. A few OpenCV examples, including face recognition and an attendance program, give newcomers a gentle first look at computer vision without requiring much machine learning background. Because the projects are small and self-contained, they also work well as first pull requests for anyone new to open source. If you are teaching yourself Python or mentoring beginners, this is a handy source of concrete exercises.
