Why we included this project

This is a personal portfolio that turns a static CV into something a recruiter can actually talk to. Instead of a PDF that lists skills, visitors get a text and voice chatbot that answers questions about the author's experience in first person, pulling answers from the site's own content through hybrid search with reranking. The engineering around that chatbot is what makes it worth a look: a six-layer prompt-injection defense, 71 automated evals that block deploys when quality drops, and a private dashboard showing real cost and quality data from Langfuse. For developers building an AI-powered portfolio or a small RAG chatbot, it's a working example of how to wire observability, evaluation, and safety into a production app, and a decent starting template if you want to show AI skills rather than just list them.
