Why we included this project
Keeping a growing library of Ollama models organized is mostly remembering version tags and checking disk usage. Gollama is a keyboard-driven terminal interface for macOS and Linux that puts the common operations on hotkeys: list, sort by size or quantisation, inspect metadata, edit a Modelfile, run or unload, copy or rename, and push to a registry. The approximate vRAM estimate is the standout, since it lets you see whether a given quantisation fits the memory you have before pulling. It is still in active development, with bugs and rough edges, but for anyone who swaps local models regularly it cuts the repetitive shell work down to a few keystrokes.
