Why we included this project
This repo is the official companion to the survey paper "A Survey of Large Language Models," and it functions more as a reading map than a piece of software. Papers and resources are organized along the survey's own structure, so you can trace the field from pretraining and instruction tuning through chain-of-thought reasoning and RLHF instead of diving into scattered arXiv links. Researchers, graduate students, and engineers getting into LLMs will find it useful as a study syllabus and a citation index that reflects how the area has moved, with recent additions on long chain-of-thought reasoning. The team behind the survey also published a Chinese-language book aimed at beginners, which makes this a reasonable first stop for anyone who wants a structured overview before reading primary sources.
