Why we included this project
Anomaly detection on time series is one of those problems where the right library depends heavily on your stack, and this list exists to make that choice easier. It collects anomaly-detection software and benchmark datasets in one place, with implementations in Python, Java, Julia, and C++ so you can compare how different ecosystems approach the same task. The maintainers mark which projects are still actively maintained, using a one-year commit cutoff, which matters when you are choosing a dependency you will have to support. Because it is hand-curated rather than a raw search result, you get a vetted set of tools like PyOD, Luminaire, and Orion plus the datasets people use to evaluate them. Treat it as a research and selection aid, not something you deploy directly.
