Why we included this project

If you are teaching yourself machine learning from scratch, this repository is a solid companion to Hsuan-Tien Lin's two classic NTU Coursera courses, Machine Learning Foundations and Machine Learning Techniques. Rather than scattered YouTube notes, it collects the full slide decks for both courses, the detailed Chinese study notes the author wrote while following along, and the companion textbook Learning From Data in one place. The notes follow the course structure lecture by lecture, so you can watch a video and immediately read a written explanation of the same topic. That pairing is especially handy for Chinese-speaking learners who want the original English lectures alongside clear reference material. It is not a runnable library, but for anyone working through the foundations, from VC dimension to SVM, boosting, and neural networks, these curated resources save hours of searching.
