Why we included this project
AutoDev is a multi-agent development platform that runs where your team already works. It ships as an IntelliJ IDEA plugin, a VS Code extension, a CLI, and desktop, mobile, and web runtimes, all backed by one Kotlin Multiplatform engine. Rather than a single autocomplete helper, it coordinates separate agents for document research, coding, code review, natural-language database queries, and artifact generation. A PR review, a SQL question about your schema, or a quick runnable prototype can each be handled without switching tools. Teams that already pay for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, or Ollama models can plug those in, and MCP integration lets the agents reach tools the team already uses, so nothing locks you into one provider.
