Why we included this project

Clarity Upscaler is a practical AI tool for anyone who regularly deals with low-resolution or compressed images. It uses generative diffusion to rebuild an image at much higher resolution, filling in realistic detail instead of just stretching pixels. It copes well with photos and artwork, including anime, and offers sharpening, pattern upscaling, and a multi-step mode, with output sizes reaching very large dimensions. Since it's built as a Cog implementation, you can run it locally from the command line, wire it into a ComfyUI workflow, or call its API if you'd rather not host it yourself. For photographers, designers, and developers wanting a self-hosted alternative to Magnific, it's a solid choice that avoids per-image costs.
