Why we included this project
BeatAI works as a reading guide for people who want to move past AI hype and actually understand how the systems work. It is a continuously updated collection that starts with neural networks and transformers, then climbs to model architecture, engineering practice, and the algorithms underneath. The pieces are curated and edited in-house, and the strongest ones get concrete: a GPT built from scratch on a MacBook over five days, or a real look at the mixture-of-experts models behind DeepSeek and Grok. Students new to the field and engineers with gaps in their mental models both find something here, because each article pairs plain language with enough technical substance to be useful on the job. Think of it as a study path and reference companion, not a deployment tool.
