Why we included this project
Teams that have already rolled out Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code and found the agents produce code that doesn't fit their architecture will find a different starting point here. Open Mercato is a TypeScript foundation for CRM, ERP, and commerce apps where the hard structural decisions (multi-tenancy, RBAC, event flow, and the domain modules themselves) are already fixed as conventions and specs. The AI coding agents you already use get an explicit map of where code belongs, plus skills for building data tables, design-system-consistent forms, and whole features with unit and integration tests. It also bundles human-cooperation skills for code review, ticketing, and debugging, so the whole team can adopt AI-assisted development rather than just a couple of senior engineers. If you want to start a business app at roughly 80% done and let agents finish the remaining 20% without re-deciding architecture, this is a concrete, self-hosted option.
