Why we included this project
WizardLM is a research repository rather than a deployable product, which is what makes it worth including. It is the home of Evol-Instruct, a method that takes simple instructions and rewrites them into progressively more complex ones, and of the Wizard family of instruction-tuned models trained with it. The approach influenced how several later open models were built, so teams training their own instruction-following LLMs will find the training recipes, data-generation scripts, and released weights useful across dialogue, code, and math in the WizardLM, WizardCoder, and WizardMath models. Backed by ICLR papers and Hugging Face releases, this is a practical starting point for reproducing or building on instruction-tuned models rather than shipping a finished product.
