Why we included this project

Most tutorials show you how to call a library; this one shows you how the machinery works. It is the companion repository to the textbook Machine Learning Refined, and it walks through implementing core models in Python, from mathematical optimization up to deep learning. Everything needed to study or teach from the book lives here: chapter PDFs, runnable Jupyter notebooks, exercises, and lecture slides. Independent learners get a suggested path through the material, and instructors can drop the slides and exercises straight into a course. The focus on intuition and visualization pays off when you sit down to implement what you have read.
