Why we included this project

Researchers who spend their days comparing model outputs against ground truth, or screening large image collections before training, will recognize the pain this tool removes: instead of juggling several windows to look at two or more images, you load folders into one interface and see everything side by side. You can zoom into the same region across multiple images in parallel, and one click saves a comparison grid with titles, which is handy for assembling figure panels for papers. Pair browsing, batch resizing, and reading directories mounted from a remote server round it out. It is not something you integrate into a pipeline; it is a desktop viewer that saves time when the job is simply looking at a lot of images. One honest caveat: the README warns that the newest code has bugs and directs users to a specific stable commit.
