Why we included this project
MLReef bundles the parts of a machine learning workflow that most teams run in separate tools, though development has moved to GitLab and this GitHub copy is no longer actively updated. The design is still worth studying: versioned data storage over git LFS, containerized code repositories that can be frozen for reuse in pipelines, an experiment tracker for logging runs and environments, and job orchestration across Kubernetes, cloud, or bare metal. For a small data team weighing one integrated platform against several point solutions, it shows how a full MLOps workspace is put together. Just do not plan on relying on this repository in production; treat it as a reference for architecture rather than a maintained dependency.
