Why we included this project
Most free AI material online is a pile of disconnected tutorials, so a structured 12-week course with 24 lessons stands out. Microsoft's curriculum walks from classic symbolic AI and knowledge representation through neural networks, deep learning, and architectures for images and text, pairing each concept with working code in both TensorFlow and PyTorch. Quizzes and hands-on labs at every step keep it beginner-friendly, and because the whole thing runs in Binder notebooks and is translated into dozens of languages, it works for self-study, classroom teaching, or team onboarding without anyone needing a particular setup. It is a learning resource, not a deployable tool, but for building a solid conceptual and practical foundation in AI it is a strong place to start.
