Why we included this project

Llama-Chinese is a community-run index of learning material for Meta's Llama models, put together for Chinese-speaking developers and researchers. It is a curated collection rather than a single tool: quick-start guides cover running Llama with Anaconda, Docker, llama.cpp, Gradio, and Ollama, while deeper walkthroughs go into pretraining, LoRA and full fine-tuning, quantization, and serving with vLLM or TensorRT-LLM. The repo also tracks Chinese-optimized checkpoints such as the Atom series and Llama3-Chinese models, and links to evaluation reports and papers. For anyone starting out with Llama in a Chinese context, it saves the usual hunt across scattered tutorials and model cards, and the benchmark comparisons help when you are trying to choose between Llama variants.
