Why we included this project
Working through this teaching course, you build two AI applications end to end: an emotional-support chatbot that answers questions using a custom knowledge base, and an autonomous agent that plans tasks, calls tools, and produces documents on its own. The lessons cover the whole stack, from Spring AI and RAG with vector storage to tool calling and MCP, and each topic comes with video, written guides, and walkthroughs of the actual source. For developers who prefer following a complete build over reading scattered documentation, this is a practical way to see how modern AI applications fit together.
