Why we included this project

This is a ready-to-run web app for anyone who wants AI help choosing what to cook. You enter the ingredients you have and a cuisine preference, and it returns a full recipe with a nutrition breakdown and a health score, covering the eight major Chinese cooking traditions plus international dishes. It also suggests a wine pairing, formats the sauce and seasoning list, and generates a photo of the finished dish so you can see the target before you start. Every AI call goes to an OpenAI-compatible endpoint you configure, so you can plug in your own API key and model, or swap providers without touching code. It uses a clean Vue and TypeScript codebase, and works as a self-hosted example of an LLM-powered product that is quick to stand up locally or deploy on Vercel or Netlify.
