Why we included this project
The maintainer of this list deliberately keeps it small: a handful of well-regarded computer science books per topic, updated regularly, rather than a sprawling catalog. That restraint is what makes it useful. Coverage runs from computer fundamentals and programming languages through software engineering, mathematics, big data, and AI/ML, so it reads as a structured path from basics into machine learning, deep learning, or NLP. The AI section is a particular draw, pointing to widely used Chinese-language texts on PyTorch, deep learning, and large language models. Teams onboarding new engineers or planning a self-study curriculum can use it as a quick reference for which books are worth buying. It is a reading list rather than software you run, but for learning and course planning that is the point.
