Why we included this project
For anyone learning deep learning from the ground up, this repository bundles the actual teaching materials from MIT's Deep Learning courses: Jupyter notebooks paired with the lecture videos they accompany. The lessons cover deep learning basics, semantic segmentation on driving scenes with DeepLab, GANs with BigGAN, and deep reinforcement learning, and each notebook is set up to run in Google Colab, so you don't need your own GPU rig to follow along. It's a practical fit for instructors borrowing curriculum, students building a portfolio of worked examples, or teams getting new ML engineers up to speed. The collection also holds up as a reference archive of classic techniques that are still worth knowing even as newer models have taken over.
