Why we included this project
This project is the environment-setup guide Le Wagon gives its AI bootcamp students, the steps they work through before classes actually start. It doesn't try to force everyone into a single checklist; there are separate walkthroughs for macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu, plus French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese editions of the same guide so learners can follow along in their own language. What makes it worth studying beyond the course itself is the build process: the markdown files are generated from templates by a Ruby script, a tidy and honest way of keeping onboarding documentation consistent and versioned as the team's tooling changes. Mentors, instructors, and anyone who regularly helps people set up a fresh development machine will find this a practical structure to borrow.
