Why we included this project
Keeping the same prompts and SKILL.md files working across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, and the other coding tools many of us run is usually a pile of hand-copied config. PromptHub treats that as a library problem: prompts, skills, and agent assets all live together in one local workspace, and a single skill can be pushed into a dozen or so editors with one click. Prompts get version history and can be tested against several models, and your library can sync to other machines over WebDAV or back up as a full snapshot to a web instance you host yourself. Data stays on your own computer by default, which is the right default for files you treat as part of your setup. A desktop app covers Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a CLI and a self-hosted web build for workflows that don't want a hosted service in the middle.
