Why we included this project

A developer building Apple apps inside an AI assistant quickly learns the cost of letting the model answer from memory. This server fixes that by putting a searchable layer over Apple's official documentation: API references, framework hierarchies, and WWDC session transcripts become lookups that Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients can call directly. For iOS and macOS engineers, that means answers grounded in real SDK docs and Swift or Objective-C code examples rather than plausible guesses. The compatibility notes and beta-status tracking are a genuine extra for teams working against the latest SDKs, since the server flags what actually works on a given OS version. It is a drop-in server rather than a full application, so adding it to existing tooling is a small config change.
