Why we included this project
Writing good prompts is often the slowest part of working with GPT-3.5, GPT-4, or ChatGPT, and this repo collects ready-made instructions so you do not have to start from a blank line. The prompts split into two kinds of work: generating text and classifying it, and the collection is especially useful for zero-shot work, where a well-worded instruction can replace fine-tuning for many classification and generation cases. You can take one and adapt it to your data before using it in your own calls. It is also worth a look just to study how other people phrase instructions; reading a few well-structured examples tends to teach more about prompt design than trial and error does.
