Why we included this project

Joe James keeps the code from his YouTube Python tutorials in this repository, and the files are exactly what you'd expect from a long-running teaching series: short scripts and notebooks that cover syntax, data structures, and algorithm practice. If you're following along with the videos, you get the same code he's explaining, which makes it easier to experiment and modify as you go. Because the examples are MIT licensed and intentionally simple, teachers can lift them for classroom exercises or quick reference without much setup. Beginners will probably treat it as a study companion; experienced developers are more likely to reach for it when they need to explain a concept than when they need production-ready code.
