Why we included this project
Most iOS and macOS developers live inside Xcode, and this extension keeps AI assistance there instead of forcing you to switch apps. It integrates GitHub Copilot, Codeium, and ChatGPT-style chat into the native editor, giving you inline suggestions plus the ability to ask questions or request code changes in context. You also get prompt-to-code generation and custom commands, so common workflows like 'add unit tests for this file' can be saved and reused. Setup requires an active Copilot or Codeium subscription and an OpenAI-compatible API key for chat, and the project has been maintained long enough to trust for daily work.
