Why we included this project

OmniBox is a self-hostable knowledge hub that pulls web pages, documents, notes, and voice memos into one searchable place. Its browser extension saves the main content of a page, the iOS app has a quick-capture mode for fleeting ideas with voice or text, and the uploader indexes PDFs, Word files, slides, and audio so their contents become searchable. Once material is in, you can ask questions and draft writing that draws on both your local library and live web results. Team accounts add permissions and sharing, so a small group can run a shared knowledge base instead of each person keeping their own. For teams that would rather keep data off a hosted service, the local deployment path is there.
