Why we included this project

Academic researchers who want AI help without losing their own voice will get real use out of this suite. It packages the whole research-to-publication workflow, from literature search through drafting, peer-style review, revision, and finalization, as Claude Code skills that run inside the editor rather than as a separate application. The design is deliberately human-in-the-loop: the tool handles the grunt work of finding references, formatting citations, verifying data, and checking logical consistency, while you keep the question, the method, and the interpretation. That makes it a practical fit for graduate students and faculty who want AI assistance without surrendering authorship, and the Socratic planning dialogue is a nice way to structure a paper before writing starts. The attention to citation provenance and claim checking is especially welcome, since hallucinated references are a real problem in AI-assisted writing.
