Why we included this project

Hedgehog Lab gives you a scientific computing environment that runs entirely in the browser, so there is no local install to manage. Matrix math, symbolic computation, TeX typesetting, and charting all happen client-side, with GPU acceleration doing the heavy lifting. That makes it a natural fit for teaching linear algebra, checking a derivation interactively, or poking at numbers in a data-science workflow without spinning up a separate stack. Teams already working in JavaScript get the added bonus of staying in one language instead of dropping into a second toolchain for exploratory computation.
